Here at CelebMix, we had the opportunity to attend the Belfast tour date of Emily’s ‘Memory Lane Tour.’ Check out our review of the tour below!

First to take to the stage was local support act Mary McGrath, who performed several covers. She is incredibly talented and has a phenomenal voice – definitely one to watch out for! Her covers included ‘Castle On The Hill’ and ‘When You Love Someone,’ along with several Picture This covers. Make sure you are following her on Twitter, where she regularly posts covers!

‘Britain’s Got Talent’ semi-finalist Harry Gardner was next on stage, and he was incredible. He performed his most popular song ‘Not Alone’, which was absolutely breathtaking and extremely emotional. During his set, he also performed several songs from his upcoming EP, allowing the audience to hear some original material he has been working on since coming off the show.

Following a brief interval, it was then time for Emily to take to the stage. She kicked off her set with the popular track ‘Ex’s and Oh’s.’ During her set, she also took things right back to her first audition, performing an acoustic rendition of ‘Master Blaster.’

As the set progressed, Emily performed tracks from her time on ‘The X Factor,’ such as ‘Human’ and ‘Creep.’ She regularly thanked the audience for their continued support throughout her time on the show and beyond.

The gig was extremely intimate and on several occasions, Emily sat down at the front of the stage and performed some slower songs. She interacted with the crowd, involving them as much as possible, getting them to join in and sing along.

Emily’s set was extremely acoustic-orientated, with a guitarist on stage with her throughout her set. Her gig was very relaxed and chilled, and if you get an opportunity to attend any of her remaining tour dates, you certainly will not be left disappointed! She puts on a phenomenal performance.

In addition to performing several covers, she sang several of her own songs, which were extremely well received. One of these songs was ‘100th Time‘, which she recently performed in conjunction with Ont’ Sofa Sessions.
