The PPV price for Tyson Fury's upcoming trilogy fight with Derek Chisora has been revealed.

While the fight will be live and free on talkSPORT on December 3, BT Sport Box Office will carry the TV broadcast in the UK at a new high for their platform of £26.95.

That is more than any of Fury's previous fights, including recent wins over Deontay Wilder and Dillian Whyte.

Recently on Sky Sports, Anthony Joshua's rematch with Oleksandr Usyk set the record as it was increased to £26.95.

Now, BT have opted to match this and are facing a backlash as a result from many disgruntled boxing fans.

One fan on social media reacted: "I usually buy PPVs, but will defo be streaming this fight."

While another simply added: "Disgrace."

A third put: "This just isn’t how supply and demand works."

The comments continued flooding in as an angry fan added: "All involved should be ashamed. That is a disgrace."

Another wrote: "F*** right off."

A more lengthy reply read: "What the f***. And Tyson Fury said he wanted EVERYONE to be able to watch Fury vs Joshua for free. Fury has gone from elite, fan favourite to embarrassing waste of time in a few months. SMH."

Not long ago, the standard PPV price for major boxing events in the UK was £19.95.

Sky bumped it up to £24.95 for Joshua's rematch with Andy Ruiz Jr back in 2019, then BT followed at that price for the Fury vs Wilder rematch in early 2020.

The heavyweights both had two further fights at £24.95, but now will seemingly operate at a £26.95 price point moving forwards.

It remains to be seen what AJ's next PPV will cost, given it will be with his new broadcaster DAZN.
